I would turn off the laptop and use a hairdryer to dry out the keys. I have done this on two cell phones that have gotten wet and it works great. Be careful to keep the dryer about 6 inches away so that you don't melt the plastic. If it was just water that you spilled, this should dry out the keys and they should work like new after. Make sure to turn it off!
