Do you feel the standard of beauty has become too genized?

With shows like the lamentable "The Swan" I feel that beauty has become pinpointed to such a small grouping of socially acceptable features so that having an "ethnic" nose, a gap in the teeth, or small is mocked and belittled (no pun intended.) Comments?
