Why do people from other regions hate on southern hip-hop so much?
Just tired of hearing people from other regions hating on all southern hip-hop. Yes I know there's a lot of trash from the south that gets played on the mainstream level and a lot of it shouldn't even be called hip hop such as Soulja Boy, Mike Jones, and all the snap music no offense to them, it shouldn't even be considered rap or hip-hop more like pop but I can't blame them either for wanting to get their money, I just hate how people are quick to judge southern hip-hop on those select few mainstream rappers instead of listening to lyrical geniuses like Z-Ro, Trae, K-Rino, Bun-B, Twisted Black, Scarface, Immortal Soldierz, Twin Beredaz, Devin the Dude, Smooth Vega, Gemenii, T.I., Ludacris, Outkast, Cunninglinguists, Chamillionaire, Ghetto Boys, Goodie Mob, Pimp C(R.I.P), Fat Pat(R.I.P), Rob G, Jay'ton, Grimm, S.P.M (yes I know his earlier work hasn't shown much lyricism but in Last Chair Violinist he really stepped his lyrical game up.)
