Hello, im not really a good judge on laptops. Would the msi GX710-400A be a good choice. to replace desktop?

Just looking for a good laptop bellow 800 bucks that can do the work of a desktop. Im going to be traveling a lot and i wont be able to be chained down to a desktop pc.
