I am falling for my best guy friend.?

I am a 14 year old girl and I have mostly guy friends. I don't get along well with other girls because I am a tomboy. However I am falling for my best guy friend Richard. He always sits by me at lunch at school and we eat breakfast together at school also. We go to eachothers locker after school and walk to the bus together and we hang out at school a lot. The only problem is that he looks at me as if I am just another friend of his...he doesn't really think of me as a girl..like as in a girlfriend..at lunch he is always talking to me about how he needs a girlfriend and how he thinks no girls like him....and it's true all the girls at my school think he is just some weird gross kid...but he really isn't I have gotten the chance to get to know him. A lot of my friends think I should go out with him because people think it's obvious we secretly like eachother, but I don't know how he feels about me. A while back we met eachother at a school football game and we hung out the whole time and he bought me nachos and a gatorade...and I didn't even ask for them he just sort of gave me them. He also teases me..in a flirty way. And well it's weird because whenever someone asks us if we like eachother we both say something like "ewwww nooo!!!"...we just deny it. I don't know what he is thinking but should I go for it or no?
