Can a landlord require you to make the entire rent amount in one week?

I recently found an apartment closer to where I work in West Chester, Pa. When I called to ask about the apartment, they told me that I had to make the entire month's rent in one week's salary. Firstly, the rent is between $850-$970 per month. I have to make between $850 and $970 per week. Secondly, they don't count child support as income. You know what I feel like, I feel like they are telling me that I am good enough to work in their neighborhood and make a few measly dollars, but not good enough to live in their neighborhood with them. People of a certain cl make that kind of money. Just because I don't make that doesn't mean that I can't afford to live there. I'm single and I make about $3100 a month. I've done all of my homework, I've made a great realistic budget for myself that leaves $900 to spare every month for anything and savings. I can afford to move into this place. What I want to know is if this is cl discrimination. It seems that only those with money can rent
